Dear Parents and Students

Welcome to Chabad of Tallahassee & FSU !

Chabad is an home for every Jewish student, guest and community member where  the joy of Jewish learning, celebration and growing community are a growing and lasting way life. Often even years after graduation, our alumni tell us how much their time at Chabad meant to them and how much they now value the friendships, relationships and spirituality they took with them on their continuing life journeys.

In addition to social events like our weekly Friday night Shabbat service and dinner, our Fall, Winter and Spring bonfires, ice-cream parties and b.b.qs we also  offer students wonderful opportunities to participate in outreach programs, lead board and program development, take free trips to Israel, study in Jerusalem and network in the community and the state Capitol.

We even have weekly classes for students who want to learn about their remarkable heritage while earning a stipend.

     Everyone is welcomed

Here, everyone is welcomed regardless of previous affiliation, age, financial status or level of Jewish education.

We work to provide both Jewish students and community members not only a synagogue  or a place of learning, but also and just as importantly a welcoming haven from the relentless social and materialistic preassures of the outside world.

At any time you can come and just hang out, eat a bagel, make yourself a cup of tea and just relax, knowing you're in a safe quiet “home away from  home”. And if there is something on your mind, you can always make time to speak with Rabbi Oirechman or his wife Rabitzen Chanie.

In essence, our work is  to help every Jewish soul discover their own G‑dly spark within, and to let that spark illuminate their hearts and minds to do more and more acts of loving-kindness in their every day lives and in the lives of others.

We wish you all the best in your University endeavors and invite you to grow, explore and celebrate with us the amazing world of Jewish wisdom, insight and purpose.

At Chabad Tallahasse & FSU there are no dues or membership fees.
