Thursday, April 9, 6:30 pm
Thursday, April 9 (Wednesday, April 8 in Israel), Jews around the world will be celebrating the Feast of Moshiach (Moshiach’s Seudah). This custom was started by the Baal Shem Tov and his students and vigorously encouraged by the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, who would personally expound each year at great length about the Messianic spark inside each of us and how tapping into our unlimited potential to do but one more act of goodness holds the potential for global transformation.
In keeping with this beautiful custom, we invite you to join us on Thursday, April 9 at 6:30 pm (beginning with Mincha) for a meaningful and inspiring gathering. The meal, which begins before sunset, includes matzah and the tradition of drinking four cups of wine or grape juice, accompanied by reflective readings that help guide us through this powerful experience. It is a fitting and spiritual way to conclude Pesach while opening our hearts and minds to the coming redemption.
Here’s a suggested program (PDF) that you can download and print before the holiday to use at your very own Feast of Moshiach, if you cannot join us for ours.
