Rise Like a Lion this Rosh Hashanah

Support Jewish Students during the High Holidays!

Our Sages teach: “One should rise like a lion in the morning.” For Jewish students at FSU and TSC, that means having the courage to live proudly and openly as Jews, even when it isn’t easy.

This year, many students feel isolated, disconnected, or even afraid. Some are far from home for the first time. Others have faced antisemitism on campus. They need a place of strength, comfort, and Jewish pride.

That’s where you come in.

Your gift creates Shabbat dinners that feel like home, High Holiday celebrations filled with warmth, Torah learning, friendships, and a Jewish family away from home. These experiences shape who they are and stay with them for life.

In a powerful show of unity, your name(s) will appear on our Caring Wall - surrounding students with visible reminders of your love and support. (Requests for anonymity are always respected.)

Every gift counts. Choose your level of impact:

  • $180 – Apple Slice - Sweet beginnings for students far from home.
  • $360 – Honey Drizzle - Bringing comfort, warmth, and connection.
  • $540 – Challah Braid - Weaving students into a Jewish family.
  • $900 – Shofar Blast - Empowering students to stand proud and strong.
  • $1,800 – Tree of Life - Rooting Jewish identity deeply on campus.
  • $3,600 – Crown of Joy - Spreading joy and Jewish pride throughout the community.
  • $5,400 – Gates of Life - Opening doors for generations of Jewish students.
Your generosity ensures that Jewish students rise this year with strength, clarity, and pride.
