Rabbi Schneur Z Oirechman:

From a young age I had a dream, to open up an innovative Jewish center, and thereby help people explore and learn about their Jewish heritage and connect to G‑d.

I was born and raised in Israel, but my family moved to America when I was 15 years old. I received my Rabbinical degree from the Rabbinical College of America, and then went to assist Jewish communities throughout the U.S and Germany.

When I met my wife, Chanie, I was happy to learn that we shared the same vision for our lives. We were married in Israel and shortly after moved to Tallahassee with our oldest son, Mendy who was 10 months at that time. Our goal: to open up a new Chabad house in Florida’s capital.

For the past 20 years, along with our other 10 children, all of whom were born and raised in Tallahassee, we have been serving Tallahassee, the capital and local universities, the entire Panhandle and south Georgia.

We are here for all your Jewish needs!

Chanie Oirechman:

Like my husband, Rabbi Schneur, I was born and raised in Israel. From a young age I knew that I wanted to be an emissary of the Rebbe. As a young girl, I helped out in Chabad houses in Israel, the US and the Ukraine. When I met my husband, we both knew right away that we would open up our own Chabad house.

It's our privilege to be here and to serve the Jewish communities in Tallahassee and the capital, and indeed throughout the Panhandle!
